Meet Ian

Ian joined the Fluent Financial team in 2025. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Texas Christian University. Ian holds the Series 7 and 66 licenses through Private Client Services (PCS). He is also actively pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
Ian brings a strong foundation in advanced derivatives trading, risk management, and data analytics developed through roles at Charles Schwab and GuideStone Capital Management. At Fluent Financial, he contributes to investment strategy, portfolio construction, and quantitative decision-making.

Originally from a farming community outside of New Home, Texas, Ian now lives in Fort Worth with his wife, Shelbi, and their son, Case. He is an active member of his Catholic church and an avid Texas Rangers fan. In his free time, Ian enjoys golf, sporting clays, college football Saturdays, and learning about as many nerdy things as he can.
