Costly Cookout: July 4th Prices Down Slightly
July 3, 2025
As the Fed Eyes Rate Cuts, Here’s How to Position Your Portfolio
July 23, 2025Dear Client,
I am sure you have seen and heard about the devastating damage and loss of life caused by the July 4 massive flooding of the Guadalupe River that rose close to 30 feet in 45 minutes. The timing could not have been worse: 4 am when most were sleeping. Several people who died were children from the Christian Camp Mystic.
More than 121 people have lost their lives, and more than 160 people are still missing, according to the latest news reports.
Many of you have or will help the victims of this wicked flood who this storm has impacted. Fluent Financial has, over the years, supported numerous charities that can help victims. We are doing this program again for the Guadalupe River/ Hill Country flood event victims. We match dollar for dollar, with no cap, to any charity you feel can best help.
If you are unsure which charity is best, I suggest reviewing the Charity Navigator site to ensure that most of your donation goes to recipients, not overhead or administration. Here is a link to their site: www.charitynavigator.org/. Please send Sie or Matt an email with the dollar amount and name of the charity (Taylor and I are out on vacation this week). We will keep this open until July 23. At that time, I will report the campaign results.
Please keep our fellow Americans/Texans in your prayers as they deal with this tremendous adversity and loss.
Sincerely,
Mitch
